i'm not sure how these look, just practicing painting in photoshop, my first attempt and my second ever, i think i'm learning alot, looking forward to having a painting to be proud of

Just posting an artist I have LOVED since I was introduced to him (Gil Elvgen) by my friend and fellow artist Jason Ebeyer http://arm-the-fallen.deviantart.com/ check either of them out!

This digital artwork created by Hayden Barnett http://hayden-b.deviantart.com/art/Scorpion-217262064 was composed as a digital painting, Hayden has attempted foreshortening and depth. The colours work well together and the textures interact effectively. Referring to an artistic perspective there are some points that lessen the strength of the composition. The use of more than 3 points of interest or detail as shown in both hands, the face and the arrow in the foreground, reducing this to 3 points by simply dulling one such as the smaller hand will effectively increase the interest of the composition, the positioning of the character has been shown to be particularly effective as placing it in the centre would be relatively boring and run of the mill. As I found out Hayden is slightly colour blind although I congratulate him on the effectiveness of his use of colour especial to aid in depth.

just a quick Photoshop activity, haven't been on Photoshop since 2008 when i was learning the works from school, hopefully will be uploading many more...better compositions, first post is always the awkward one ...  gotta set myself some challenges to achieve in Photoshop, i would also like to learn to paint, hopefully get my mittens on a graphics tablet
