The colours work well together and the textures interact effectively. Referring to an artistic perspective there are some points that lessen the strength of the composition. The use of more than 3 points of interest or detail as shown in both hands, the face and the arrow in the foreground, reducing this to 3 points by simply dulling one such as the smaller hand will effectively increase the interest of the composition, the positioning of the character has been shown to be particularly effective as placing it in the centre would be relatively boring and run of the mill. As I found out Hayden is slightly colour blind although I congratulate him on the effectiveness of his use of colour especial to aid in depth.
